I went to the doctor today. Just in case our little girl doesn't say hi on her own soon, they have scheduled me for an induction next week. More info to come soon! Please keep us in your prayers.
We recently discovered the allrecipes website and have really enjoyed some of the recipes there and the features offered. We love that you can create a shopping list to take to the store with you. It has really simplified dinner planning and grocery shopping recently, and it's been fun exploring new recipes. :)
We tried a new one last night and it was DELICIOUS!!! I just had to share it. Here's the link: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Curried-Cashew-Pear-and-Grape-Salad/Detail.aspx It was super easy. We did modify it a pinch. We cheated and just bought honey mustard dressing at the store instead of making our own. I can't figure out why, but my homemade dressings always have too strong of a vinegar flavor (any suggestions???). We also tossed in some grilled chicken and used some non-salted chashews that were in our freezer from Trader Joes. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The pears are so yummy right now. :)
Ten years ago today, Justin and I went on our first official date. We went to IHOP and then to the Halloween dance at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at our college dressed as Renaissance peasants. :) It was my first time ever going to a dance with a date... and what a special night it was!
I had today off from work and Justin didn't have to go in to work until this afternoon, so we celebrated with lunch at IHOP and then went to the movies to see "Amelia."
Justin, thank you for 10 special years! I couldn't have imagined that evening all the adventures that God would lead us through in the years ahead. I love you more and more each day!
